  • 4 medium leeks
  • 1 1/2 pt. cheese sauce
  • 4 rashers of bacon
  • a little grated cheese

    Clean the leeks thoroughly as they can be gritty.

    Boil for 5 minutes.

    Remove from pan and drain.

    Wrap a rasher of bacon round each leek.

    Cook slowly in a buttered dish until done.

    Cover with cheese sauce; sprinkle with grated cheese on top and brown under grill.

    Serve with jacket potatoes.
