  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 7/8 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 lemons juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest finely

Directions

    Preheat oven to 180 °C.

    Mix the butter with the flour and powdered sugar.

    Grease a baking tray, add the previous mixture, and bake for 18-20 minutes.

    Meanwhile, beat the eggs with the sugar, 4 tablespoons of flour, lemon juice, and zest.

    Spread on top of the first layer, and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes.

    Cut into squares, and garnish with powdered sugar.
