- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. melted oleo
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, separated
- juice of 2 lemons
- 1 c. milk
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Bake pie shell 5 minutes in 350° oven.

2Combine sugar, flour, oleo, salt and egg yolks.

3Beat until smooth; add lemon juice and milk and beat well.

4Beat egg whites until stiff.

5Gently fold into first mixture.

6Pour into cooled pie shell and bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until filling is firm.

7This bakes like a cake but the inside is like a pie.
