Ingredients
- 4 large chicken breasts, halved, skinned and boned
- bread crumbs, seasoned to taste with garlic powder (to coat chicken)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. white wine
- 1 c. chicken broth or bouillon
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
Directions

1Dip chicken in egg, then bread crumbs and brown.

2Place in baking dish.

3Add lemon juice, wine, broth and oregano to pan used to brown chicken.

4Simmer, loosening bits stuck to pan, for 5 minutes.

5Pour over chicken.

6Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

7(Can be assembled early in the day and then baked immediately prior to serving.)

8Serves 6 to 8.
