- 2 lemons
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch or 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, separated
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. butter
- pinch of salt
- pie shell, baked
Directions

1Squeeze juice from lemons.

2Mix lemon juice, cornstarch, sugar, egg yolks, butter and salt, then add boiling water.

3Cook in double boiler until thick like honey.

4When mixture is cool, pour into baked pie shell and cover with meringue.
