- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 5 Tbsp. lemon juice
- grated peel of 1 lemon
- 3 egg yolks, well beaten
- 1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
- 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
Directions

1Combine first 4 ingredients.

2Add lemon juice and peel.

3Add to combined egg yolks and milk.

4Mix well.

5Fold in egg whites and pour into greased custard cups.

6Bake in pan of hot water in 325° oven for 45 minutes or bake in greased shallow baking dish.
