- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- dash of salt
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 tsp. lemon peel
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cup milk (scalded)
- 3 beaten egg yolk
- 3 stiffly beaten egg whites
Directions

1Combine sugar, flour, salad oil and salt.

2Add lemon peel and juice. Stir milk into egg yolks, add lemon mixture.

3Fold in egg whites. Pour into 8-5 oz. custard cups.

4Set cups in shallow pan.

5Pour hot water around them 1 inch deep.

6Bake at 325° for 40 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.
