  • 6 eggs
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/3 c. milk
  • 3 oz. lemon extract
  • 1/4 lb. candied pineapple
  • 4 c. pecans
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1/4 lb. raisins, white

    Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, beat well.

    Add lemon extract.

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Add to cream mixture. Add fruit and nuts.

    Bake in loaf pan at 300° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
