Lemon Icebox Pie

  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pkg. vanilla wafers
  • juice of 2 lemons

Directions

    Beat egg yolks.

    Add lemon juice and beat well.

    Add can of milk and mix thoroughly.
  4. 4
    Crumble a dozen or so wafers and press into bottom of pie pan.
  5. 5
    Add about 12 to 14 whole wafers around edge of pie pan.

    Pour mixture over crumbled wafers.

    Beat egg whites and add sugar.

    Spread this on pie and brown in oven.

    Cool and then chill in refrigerator.
