- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
- 1 1/2 lemons or 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 pt. whipping cream
- 2 tsp. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

1Beat egg whites, then add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and vinegar, then add 1 1/2 cups sugar gradually and continue beating. Don't beat too stiff.

2Cover back of a large cookie sheet with foil. Spread egg white mixture over foil.

3Bake at 300° for 1 hour. Cool in oven with heat off and door open, very gradually, about 1 hour.
