- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 lb. dates, chopped
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 1/2 oz. pure lemon flavoring
- 4 c. pecans, chopped
Directions

1Cream oleo

3sugar, add 1 egg at a time.

4Add 3 cups flour, flavoring and pecans.

5Add 1 cup flour to chopped fruit, then add to mixture.

6Makes two cakes, baked in angel food cake pans.

7Bake

8at 250° until done.

9After 1 hour put pan of water under cake.
