  • 1 pie crust, baked and cooled
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon rind, grated
  • 1/2 c. fresh squeezed lemon juice

Directions
