- 5 eggs
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon
Directions

1Cream butter, shortening and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

3Add alternately sifted dry ingredients and milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Add vanilla and lemon.
