- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. plain flour
- 5 tsp. lemon
- 5 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream sugar and Crisco.

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Sift flour and baking powder; add to sugar and Crisco, a little at a time. Also add milk a little at a time.

4Add flavorings.

5Pour in greased tube pan.

6Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

7Cool. Remove from pan.

8Spread lemon juice and sugar mixture over top.
