  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 2 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. shortening
  • 2/3 c. milk

    Cream sugar, shortening and butter together.

    Add one egg at a time, beating well after each.

    Add flour and milk to creamed mixture.

    Pour batter into greased pan and bake in preheated oven at 275° for 1 hour.
