- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. grated lemon zest
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 drops yellow food coloring
Directions

1Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in medium saucepan.

2Gradually add water, stirring until well blended.

3Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring frequently.

4Boil 3 min., stirring constantly.

5Remove from heat.

6Add butter, lemon zest, lemon juice and food coloring; stir until butter is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
