  • 3/4 to 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice (I use ReaLemon)

Directions

    Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan; stir in water and

    Boil for 1 minute.

    Remove from heat and stir in butter and lemon juice. Yields 6 servings.
