  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. lemon rind
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Bring water to a boil; add dry ingredients, then slowly add egg and then butter last.

    Mix together good until thickened and glossy.
