- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. grated lemon peel
Directions

1In a small saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.

2Add 1 cup water, stirring until smooth.

3Bring to a boil, while stirring. Lower heat and stir until clear.

4Add lemon juice and peel.

5Mix thoroughly.

6Serve warm over gingerbread, angel food cake or the like.
