- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 Tbsp. soda
Directions

1Mix sugar, Karo syrup and water in heavy skillet.

2Cook about 10 minutes (until you see a white string thread), stirring occasionally.

3Add peanuts; cook about 8 minutes or until mixture turns light caramel color (stir constantly).

4Add margarine and stir real fast until margarine melts.

5Add baking soda; stir until well mixed.

6Pour onto a heavily buttered platter or cookie sheet. Let cool then break into pieces.
