  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • rind and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 lump butter
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour, egg yolks, rind and juice of 1 lemon and butter. Gradually add milk.

    Mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff and mix into batter. Pour into a 9-inch pie crust. Bake at 350° until firmly baked.
