- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- butter (size of egg), melted
- 2 eggs, separated
- juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Cream together melted butter, sugar and flour.

2Add yolks of eggs, beaten to a cream.

3Then add juice and grated rind of lemon and milk.

4Add whites of eggs, beaten to a froth.

5Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry, unbaked and pour in filling.

6Bake 25 minutes at 400°.

7Decrease heat to 350° and bake 10 minutes longer.
