Ingredients
- 1 lb of strip bacon or 1 lb ham
- 8 medium potatoes
- 2 medium onions
- 2 (14 ounce) cans creamed corn
- 2 (12 ounce) cans evaporated milk
- 12 cup margarine or 12 cup butter
- water
- salt
- pepper
Directions

1Peel potatoes.

2Cut into bite size pieces.

3Cut up bacon into bites.

4Chop onions.

5Put potatoes into large pot and cover with water.

6Cook until tender.

7Do not drain.

8Saute bacon or ham and onions in fry pan with butter until bacon is cooked thouroughly.

9Do not drain.

10Drain water from potatoes until they are barely covered in pot.

11Add bacon and onions and all drippings from fry pan to potatoes in pot.

12Add creamed corn and evaporated milk.

13Stir.

14Salt and pepper to taste.

15Simmer 20 minutes, stir occasionally.

16Serve in bowls.
