- 1 c. dried lentils
- 1 carrot
- 1 medium onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- garlic to taste
Directions

1Cook ham hock until meat pulls apart.

2Remove meat from bone. Pour lentils into the ham stock.

3Refrigerate overnight.

4Dice onion and carrot; add to stock.
