Lentil Soup

- 25 g butter or 25 g margarine
- 1 onion
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 liters ham stock (you can use cubes)
- 300 g lentils (red, don't soak them a wash will do)
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Melt your butter in a heavy soup pot.

2Add your choped onion, and soften in the butter,then add your flour and cook out the rawness for a few minutes.

3Add your stock and stir well.

4Then add your lentils and stir well again.

5At this point add your salt and pepper, but taste as some tastes vary.

6Bring to the boil and turn down to a simmer.

7Stir frequently so it won't catch on the bottom.
