Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 green onions, chopped and sauteed lightly in microwave
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. or more garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • Louisiana red hot sauce to taste
  • red pepper (preferably cayenne)
  • 1/4 lemon (only the juice)

    Mix all this well.

    Taste and add spices to taste.

    Then carefully pick through 1/2 pound fresh crabmeat.

    Add to mixture. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes or until set.

    (Can refrigerate several hours before baking.)

    Serve hot with small, sliced French bread.
