  • 1 (10 ounce) box frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and minced
  • 1 (16 ounce) carton sour cream
  • 18 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 12 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

    Thaw spinach and drain thoroughly by wringing in paper toweling.

    Combine drained spinach with all remaining ingredients and mix well.

    Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
