- 3 Cucumbers
- 1 Kombu soup stock
- 1/2 tsp Salt (or 2 teaspoons of shio-koji)
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1 Ichimi chili pepper powder
- 1 Storing container (big enough to fit the cucumbers)
Directions

1Slice cucumber and put in container.

2A teaspoon of sugar also gives it a nice touch.

3Add seasonings.

4Cover with lid and shake.

5Turn over pieces from time to time.

6If using a bag, rub the cucumbers.

7Chill in the refrigerator.
