- 2 c. lime
- 2 gal. water
- 14 c. sliced cucumbers, sliced not too thin
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 1 tsp. mixed spices
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 9 c. sugar
- green food coloring
Directions

1Soak cucumbers 24 hours in lime water. Wash once.

2Let stand 3 hours in cold water. Place cucumbers in mixture of remaining ingredients and let stand 12 hours or overnight.

3Heat 35 minutes in syrup.

4Place in jars and seal. DO NOT BOIL!
