- 1 1/2 gal. cucumbers, cut round
- 2 gal. water or enough to cover the cucumbers
- 2 c. lime, mixed in water
- 8 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 8 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. pickling spice
Directions

1Pour the lime and water mixture over the cucumbers and leave 24 hours. Wash in cold water.

2Leave for 3 more hours.

3Combine the vinegar, salt, sugar and pickling spice.

4Pour over cucumbers and cook 30 minutes, then can.
