- 2 gal. sliced pickles (I use 2 1/2 gal.)
- 2 c. lime
- 2 gal. water
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 5 lb. sugar
- 2 level Tbsp. salt
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 sticks cinnamon bark
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- green food coloring
Directions

1Mix lime and water (be sure to have the lime dissolved in water) and pour over pickles.

2Let stand 24 hours, then drain and rinse well.

3Put fresh water over pickles.

4Let stand 3 hours, then drain well.
