Linguine With Broccoli

- 1 bunch broccoli
- 3 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1 lb. linguine
Directions

1Cut broccoli flowerets off stems.

2Cut stems into bite size pieces.

3(Should make about 6 cups of stem pieces and flowerets.) Steam broccoli for about 5 minutes; drain.

4In separate large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil.

5Cook linguine until cooked through; drain pasta.

6Toss with broccoli.

7Add oil, garlic and pepper to mixture.

8Serve immediately.
