- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Combine 1/3 cup warm water,

2yeast,

32/3 tablespoonful of sugar and set aside. Combine 1-2/3 cups water, 1-1/2 cups milk, 1/2 cup butter, 2 tablespoons salt and 1/2 cup sugar; beat until sugar and butter are melted.

4Cool.

5Add yeast mixture.

6Using 6 cups of flour, mix and knead 15 minutes.

7Let rise once in bowls and once in pan after making loaves.

8Bake at 350° until brown. Butter tops when removed from oven.
