- 5 cups berries crushed
- 7 cups sugar
- 1 box pectin fruit
- 1/2 teaspoon butter
Directions

1Boil jars on rack in large pot filled with water 10 minutes. Place flat lids in saucepan with water. Bring to boil; remove from heat. Let stand in hot water until ready to fill. Drain well.

2Crush berries, sieve half the pulp to remove some seeds if desired.

3Combine berries, butter and fruit pectin in 8 quart pot. Bring mixture to full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly.

4Quickly add sugar to fruit mixture. Bring to full rolling boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.

5Remove from heat. Skim off any foam.
