- 2 small cakes yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 6 egg yolks
- 6 c. flour
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 pt. sour cream
Directions

1Mix together yeast and warm water.

2Cream sugar, butter and Crisco.

3Add eggs, one at a time.

4Add sour cream, baking powder, yeast mixture and flour.

5Mix with hands until no longer sticky. Put in refrigerator overnight.

6Mix 1 cup sugar and 1 cup flour together.

7Use to roll the dough out on (make more if needed).
