Ingredients

  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 2 c. rice, uncooked
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • salt, pepper and Accent to taste
  • smoked sausage or ham (amount is by your desire)

Directions

    Saute green pepper, celery and onion with sausage in a tablespoon of butter.

    Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, 2 cans water, sugar and spices.

    Bring to a boil and add rice. Reduce heat. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed.
