  • 1 1/3 c. Pillsbury's Best all-purpose or unbleached flour
  • 1 c. Pillsbury Best whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 5 c. (5 medium) thinly sliced, peeled apples
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Grease and flour bottom only of 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except nuts; beat at low speed until moistened.

    Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed.

    Stir in nuts.

    Spread in prepared pan.

    Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

    Serve warm or cool with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
