  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

    Combine butter, sugars and salt; blend well.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

    Stir in vanilla, flour, cream and pecans.

    Pour mixture into pie shell.

    Bake in a moderate 375° oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.
