  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. white granulated sugar
  • 2 slightly beaten egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. or less salt
  • 1 c. oatmeal
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 c. raisins

    Cream margarine.

    Add sugar until fluffy; add egg whites and vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Stir in flour, soda and salt together.

    Blend well.

    Add oatmeal, raisins and nuts; again mix well.

    Bake on lightly greased cookie sheets for 10 minutes or until lightly brown at 375°.
