  • 1 lb ground sirloin
  • 2 (26 ounce) jarslow-sugar spaghetti sauce
  • 2 (15 1/4 ounce) cans black beans
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) canlight red kidney beans
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) canchili ready diced tomatoes
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder

    Drain and rinse all the beans.

    In a medium soup pot, brown the beef, drain, and set aside.

    Add olive oil to pan; sweat garlic and onion.

    Return beef to pot.

    Add remaining ingredients and stir well.

    Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

    Reduce heat to low and simmer covered for 20-30 minutes.
