Low-Fat Lasagna

  • 2 lb. lean ground round or ground chuck
  • 2 jars fat-free spaghetti sauce
  • 9 cooked lasagna noodles
  • 1 can mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 lb. fat-free Mozzarella (I use more cheese)
  • 1 large container fat-free cottage cheese

Directions

    Brown meat; pour in colander and rinse under hot water to remove any fat.

    Mix spaghetti sauce with meat.

    Spray casserole dish with nonfat spray.

    Layer noodles, cheese, meat and sauce, noodles, cottage cheese, meat and sauce, noodles, rest of meat and sauce and cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
