- 1/3 c. vegetable oil or margarine (unsalted)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 egg yolks, unbeaten
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. unsalted pecans, chopped
- 1/2 c. plain flour
Directions

1Melt chocolate and vegetable oil or margarine together in a saucepan.

2Remove from stove; stir in sugar, eggs (1 yolk at a time), vanilla and flour.

3Add chopped nuts.

4Spread the mixture in a shallow pan.

5Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.

6Cut into squares while still warm.

7Makes about 16 squares.

8One square equals 3 mg. sodium.
