Luau Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. shortening
  • 6 pork chops
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 c. pineapple juice (I use the juice from a 15 oz. can pineapple chunks. I use the chunks in the meat.)

Directions

    Mix flour, ginger, pepper, paprika and salt.

    Coat the chops and brown in shortening.
  3. 3
    Pour in pineapple juice and vinegar. Add brown sugar and then add pineapple chunks.

    Cook over low heat for 40 minutes or until tender.

    Very good served with rice, string beans and apples.
