- 1 lb. ground meat (pork, beef or poultry)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, minced
- 2 (12 oz. size) pkg. chop suey mix
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. water
- 40 lumpia wrappers
- salad oil (for frying)
Directions

1In a large saucepan, brown meat with garlic and onion.

2Add vegetables and seasonings; cook for 2 minutes.

3(Do not overcook vegetables.)

4Drain and cool.

5Combine flour and water to make a paste.

6To make lumpia, place 2 tablespoons of vegetable filling on a wrapper.

7Fold nearest edge of wrapper over filling; fold left and right towards center.

8Roll tightly toward open edge.

9Seal with paste.

10Heat oil to 375°.

11Fry lumpia until golden brown; drain.

12Serve with Lumpia Dipping Sauce.

13Makes 40 lumpia.
