  • 2 c. cooked summer squash
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • grated cheese or cracker crumbs

Directions

    Cook squash until tender; drain.

    Brown ground beef and onion; drain off fat.

    Combine squash, ground beef, onion, cream of mushroom soup, salt and pepper.

    Pour into casserole.

    Top with grated cheese or cracker crumbs.

    Bake at 375° until lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
