Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. Wesson oil
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery or pepper
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 c. cooked elbow macaroni (1 c. uncooked)
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. chili powder
  • grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Lightly brown beef in Wesson oil in skillet.

    Add onion and celery (or pepper) and brown.

    Remove excess fat.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Cover and let simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Top with cheese before serving.
