- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. elbow macaroni
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
- 1 stick oleo
- milk to come within 3/4-inch to the top of casserole
Directions

1Butter the sides and bottom of 2 x 8-inch casserole dish. Boil macaroni in salted water for 10 minutes; then drain.

2Pour 1/2 elbow macaroni in bottom of dish.

3Put layer of sliced cheese on top of that and 1/2 stick of butter (in chunks) on that. Repeat this process with the rest of the macaroni and butter. Pour milk into casserole until it comes about 3/4-inch to the top of the dish.

4Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
