  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. macaroni
  • 1 (10 1/2 or 11 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. grated onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1/2 lb. American cheese, grated

Directions

    Cook macaroni in boiling salted water; drain and rinse. Combine the mushroom soup, milk, onion and seasoning.

    Alternate layers of macaroni, soup and cheese in greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

    Bake in moderate oven at 350° about 45 minutes.
