  • 2 pkg. grated coconut
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 egg whites

    Combine all ingredients.

    Shape into small balls, flatten slightly and place on greased cookie sheet.

    Let stand half hour. Bake at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes until slightly browned.
