- 500 grams maccaroni
- 500 grams bacon (diced)
- 250 ml milk
- 4 tbsp flour
- 250 grams cheddar cheese (grated)
- 75 grams butter
Directions

1Fry the bacon until crispy.

2Set aside.

3In a separate pot melt the butter.

4Add the flour and stir.

5Add the milk a little bit and the time.

6Keep stirring to remove all the lumps.

7You can add water to make more sauce.

8Add flour if you need to thicken.

9Cook the maccaroni.

10When satisfied that you have enough sauce add about 3/4 of the grated cheese.

11Mix the drained pasta, fried bacon and about 3/4 of the cheese sauce and put it into your chosen oven dish.

12Cover the top of the pasta with the remainder of the white sauce and grated cheese.

13Put in the oven at 200C for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is nicely melted.
